The Applied Theatre Center partnered with Serenity Place in 2018 to produce "Beautiful Recovery", which featured writing and art by Serenity Place residents, as well as professional studio photographs of the writers and artists.

We offer weekly drama therapy groups for women at Serenity Place (a program of the Phoenix Center) and Jasmine Road. In these groups we adopt a strengths-based approach that combines emotional expression with role playing and writing and art therapies. The ladies often create and perform plays about their lives and they publish books of their writing and art. articipate by offering opinions, perspectives and solutions!
